Book Photography with Lydia! – Events & Portraits
Based in Melrose, MA, I am a portrait & event photographer seeking to shoot portraits and events in the North Shore/Greater Boston Area (travel options available).
Events: I’d love to shoot your birthday parties, block parties, music gigs, arts & culture events, church, temple, or synagogue happenings, sporting events, anime conventions, book clubs, art classes, sidewalk mayhem, and more.
Portraits: I love shooting a) people who are not as used to being on camera, and figuring out the “aha” moment for a great picture, and b) I want to shoot a wide range of people from different backgrounds, subcultures, life experiences, ages, and abilities. Right now, I’m particularly interested into shooting more older adults, people with disabilities, and LGBT+ folks, and/but anyone is welcome to book with me.
Rate: Sliding scale – $20-65/hour, depending on client income, complexity of shoot, location, and past experience/portfolio in subject matter.
What you’ll get: In a 30-minute portrait mini-session, you’ll get 12-20 edited shots, delivered to you with both high-resolution (up to 4000x6000 px) tifs, and 2500px web-resolution jpegs to use on Instagram. That number will increase to up to 25-50 images (with a wider variety of background) in a longer shoot.
Printing: Giclee prints on cotton fine-art papers and framing options are available through Artopia Giclee. Also – ask me about on-demand printing of photo books from your images.
Retouching & editing: By default, images will appear un-retouched. Retouching (and fun photo edits) are available upon request. If there is a particular editing style (for instance, black & white) you would like, let me know in the “About the Shoot” box below.
